Sellers may be charged for using some of Blazonshots’ services. This Fees & Payments Policy explains your fees and taxes and how to pay them.
This policy is a part of our Terms and Condition. By opening a Blazonshots’ shop, you’re agreeing to this policy and our Terms and Conditions.
Sellers may be required to pay the following types of fees. Please note that all fees are listed exclusive of any value-added tax (VAT) or similar taxes that may apply. See the Taxes section below for further details. It’s important to note that service fees like gift wrapping are non-refundable.
You will be charged a listing fee of between 0 NGN – 180,000 NGN depending on the listing package you choose. For any package that you choose, you will be entitled to the number of available listings and listings features that you can create, provided by the access covered by the package. For items already listed on your Blazonshots shop, there are no additional listing fees to keep the items listed on our platform. You will only be charged a listing fee once by purchasing a listing package for creating or renewing a listing on Blazonshots; there is no fee for editing a listing. You will purchase a listing package to renew a listing whether or not the listed item sells, Blazonshots.com listings expire per the duration a purchased package covers. If you purchase a listing package including the free trial that has no cost, you can list as many items as the package covers. Once the package allowed number of new listings that can be created has been exhausted, you will purchase the package again or another package of your choice to create more listings and when an item has been completely sold and is out of stock, you can edit the listing and increase the stock quantity to make the listing available again on the platform. Listings created are reflected in your listing package and deducted at the time the listing is published.
When you make a sale through Blazonshots.com, you will be charged a transaction fee of 3% of the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping. If you sell from the US, the transaction fee will not apply to sales tax. If you sell from anywhere other than the US, the transaction fee will apply to the listing price (which should include any applicable taxes that you as a seller are responsible for), shipping price, and gift wrapping fee. If you offer optional personalization for an additional fee, the additional fee for personalization is added to the listing price you display and the total product price is subject to the same transaction fees described in this Section. See the Taxes section below for more information about whether you are required to include applicable taxes in your listing prices. Transaction fees are deducted from your current balance as each sale occurs and are reflected in your payment account.
Blazonshots offers multiple services to help you advertise your listings and promote your shop, which includes the following:
Offsite Ads Fees
Blazonshots performs offsite advertising campaigns from networks, such as social networks and search engines. If such advertising includes your listing, a buyer clicks on it, and then places any orders from your shop within 30 days of that click, you will be charged an advertising fee on these orders (which we’ll refer to collectively as “Enhanced Orders” and individually as an “Enhanced Order”).
The Offsite Ads fee you are charged for Enhanced Orders depends on your shop’s sales over the prior 365 days, as follows:
For the purpose of calculating this 1,000,000 USD threshold, sales are calculated by multiplying item price by quantity (minus any discounts or formally cancelled orders), but excluding Blazonshots fees, or separately charged shipping, taxes, or gift wrap. For sellers with shop currencies other than NGN, the 1,000,000 NGN threshold is calculated with the currency exchange rates used by Blazonshots at the time that the relevant sales were processed. Exchange rates used are variable and are provided by the Central Bank of Nigeria (Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market).
How Offsite Ads fees are calculated:
Offsite Ads fees apply to Enhanced Orders and are charged as a percentage of the total order amount, which comprises the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping and in some jurisdictions, taxes, as set forth below. The applicable percentage charge, either 12% or 15%, is determined as described above.
If you are an Blazonshots user and you list your items in a currency other than your payment account currency, see the Currency Conversion section below for more details on Offsite Ads fees. If you sell from Nigeria, Offsite Ads fees will not apply to sales tax. If you sell from anywhere other than Nigeria, Offsite Ads fees will apply to any applicable taxes that are included in your listing prices. If you offer optional personalization like gift wrapping for an additional fee, the additional fee for personalization is added to the listing price you display and the total display price is subject to the same Offsite Ads fees described in this Section. There is no limit to the number of Offsite Ads fees you may be charged on Enhanced Orders, but the total Offsite Ads fee you’ll pay on a single Enhanced Order will not exceed 100,000 NGN. Offsite Ads Fees are deducted from your current balance and are reflected in your payment account.
Blazonshots vendors in good standing may opt-in to Blazonshots +, a subscription package offering an easy payment solution on the platform. With Blazonshots +, you don’t have to worry about expiration of any of your packages or listings, the subscription will take care of that for you. Where applicable, Blazonshots may charge local taxes (e.g. sales taxes or VAT) on your monthly subscription fee.
While you are subscribed to Blazonshots +, you are provided with the following discounts each subscription cycle:
You must apply the promotion ads coupon codes within the validity period stipulated in the mail that accompanies the coupon code, and utilize the 5% discount coupon within your subscription cycle, otherwise they expire. Credits will not roll over month to month. They will be reset and replenished at the beginning of each subscription.
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout for certain regions. If the shipping fee is not calculated automatically in your region please contact our support via mail info@blazonshots.com
With the exception of the transaction fee, Offsite Ads fees, and deposit fees, Blazonshots converts fees from NGN to your payment account currency at the market rate at the time the fee is reflected in your payment account. All fees appear in your payment account in your domestic currency. However, Blazonshots users located in Nigeria will have all fees deducted from their payment account in their designated payment account currency, the Nigerian Naira.
Any action by a seller to avoid paying a fee is considered fee avoidance and is strictly prohibited by Blazonshots. This includes, for example, encouraging buyers to purchase an item in your Blazonshots shop through any other venue except Blazonshots platform. A transaction initiated on Blazonshots should not be completed off of Blazonshots. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may not alter the item’s price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding Blazonshots transaction fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user’s account without permission.
Blazonshots will automatically deduct all fees owed from your payment account before payout.
Your statement is available in your payment account/registered email at the beginning of each month, and will detail all sales and fees activity from the preceding month.
By enrolling in Blazonshots + subscription package, any outstanding fees not covered by the funds in your payment account will be charged to the credit card you have on file on the first of the month or when your current balance is greater than or equal to your fee threshold. To use the plan, you agree to the following terms.
A. You authorize Blazonshots to keep your payment card information on file and to charge the card on file on the first day of each calendar month for the previous month’s outstanding charges and at any time the balance of fees reaches the designated fee threshold for your account. Upon enrollment, Blazonshots will charge your current balance to the card on file.
B. When your card account is debited, Blazonshots will send you an email with the amount charged. You can also review this information by accessing your account on Blazonshots.
C. If your card account on file with us is closed, the account number is changed, or a charge is rejected by your card issuer, you must update your card information or add a new card number in your Blazonshots account. If your charge is refused by the issuer for any reason, your Blazonshots account may be suspended or terminated, and you are still required to pay your outstanding balance by some other means. Your authorization applies to any successor or replacement card you or your card issuer provides.
D. You may cancel your subscription and change to manual payment by visiting the Your Subscription section of your Blazonshots account dashboard. This will reflect immediately and automatically
E. Suspended or terminated members remain obligated to pay Blazonshots for all unpaid fees.
Blazonshots.com enables buyers as well as vendors to make various forms of payment in their local currencies while purchasing items on Blazonshots or using Blazonshots services. Buyers/Vendors registered on Blazonshots can make payment by major credit or debit cards accepted by Paystack, PayPal, Blazonshots Gift Card, Blazonshots Credits and Blazonshots Coupons (subject to applicable limitations described in this document), by certain bank transfer services, through PayPal (where available), and through Pay stack (where available).
Buyers using Blazonshots are also subject to the Etsy Payments Policy.
Aside from the limited circumstances set out below, you are responsible for collecting and paying any taxes associated with using and making sales through Blazonshots’ services.
For purposes of these Terms, please note that while some countries may refer to VAT using other terms, e.g., Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) or Harmonized Sales Tax (“HST”), we’ll just refer to VAT, GST, HST and any local sales taxes collectively as “VAT” unless the context requires otherwise.
To comply with applicable regions tax laws, Blazonshots will calculate, collect and remit sales tax on your behalf for orders shipped to customers residing in any location.
The following are states/regions that Blazonshots currently collects and remits sales taxes on your behalf:

If you sell on Blazonshots and reside in Canada, you need to include applicable taxes in your listing prices, except in cases where local tax legislation requires Blazonshots to collect the taxes on your behalf. As different jurisdictions in Canada at both a federal and provincial level apply different collection requirements for online marketplaces (e.g., GST/HST and provincial sales taxes) in Canada), Blazonshots may apply taxes to sales on a tax-excluded basis using the appropriate factors so that the taxes you include in your prices are not taxed again.
Where Blazonshots is required to collect sales tax/VAT on your behalf, Blazonshots will use the location of the buyers billing address to calculate, collect, and remit the applicable taxes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all of your listings are properly scoped to ensure your Blazonshots shop’s location you are selling from is not outside our supported regions in order to know if you will add the tax to the listing fee, and you agree to indemnify Blazonshots for any losses it incurs in connection with any underscoping of your listings by you.
Please remember that Blazonshots fees do not include any withholding taxes that might apply in your home country. You are required to pay Blazonshots the full amount of our fees and may not deduct any applicable withholding taxes from that amount.
In certain jurisdictions, where required to comply with applicable laws, Blazonshots may withhold taxes from payments made to you or on your sales made through Blazonshots.com.
Where applicable, state sales tax will be applied to the Blazonshots +’ subscription fee charged by Blazonshots.
Depending on your business status and location, Blazonshots may be required to apply VAT on vendor fees charged each month and remit it to the relevant tax authority. VAT is collected on all Blazonshots fees for vendors located in countries where VAT should be applied. Note that fees listed in this policy are exclusive of VAT.
In most US states, as applicable, Blazonshots will collect the sales tax amount from the buyer and pay this to the relevant tax authority. If the sale was made through debit/credit card Payments, the sales tax amount will appear in your payment account.
For items shipped to certain states, including but not limited to Washington state (or, for digital items, those purchased with a Washington state billing address), Blazonshots will use the location of the buyer to calculate, collect, and remit the applicable sales tax based on the buyer’s location in the US.
Taxes Collected and Remitted from buyers outside the US
Collection of VAT on Physical Goods:
Blazonshots will collect the sales tax amount from the buyer based on the buyer’s billing address and pay this to the relevant tax authority.
Under local laws in certain countries, Blazonshots is required to collect and remit VAT to the relevant tax authorities when you sell a digital item delivered via automatic download to the buyer. Blazonshots will automatically display the increased amount charged to the buyer of the digital item to collect the correct amount of VAT, and we will remit it to the tax authorities, and you will not have to take any further action.
Certain jurisdictions may require Blazonshots to collect other fees, charges or levies (e.g., environmental fees) from buyers and to remit those amounts to the relevant governmental authorities. Where Etsy is required by law to collect such amounts, they will be charged to buyers at checkout.
Where legally required, Blazonshots will report your personal details and details of your transactions to relevant goverrnmental authorities.
For US vendors, Blazonshots will issue 1099-K forms to certain vendors to comply with IRS and applicable state requirements. You may opt in at any time to receive your 1099-K form electronically.
For Nigerian and other countries vendors, Blazonshots will issue google forms to vendors to complete their KYC process, user/vendor verification and other applicable region/country requirements. You may opt in at any time to recieve your google forms electronically via your registered e-mail address to complete your KYC process and get verified form.
Blazonshots.com will not disclose any personal information to any third parties unless legally required to do so.
If you are registered on Blazonshots, you may accept payment by Blazonshots Gift Card and Blazonshots Coupons. Blazonshots Gift Card, and Blazonshots Coupons are subject to the Blazonshots fees and Payments policy.
Blazonshots will pay vendors on all their sales on a daily basis. All payments made by buyers are made exclusively to Blazonshots. This was put in place to protect our vendors from fake payment transactions that do not end up reflecting in the vendors account, to prevent losses. Hence all transactions goes to Blazonshots and is remitted to vendors at the end of every business day. Do not allow buyers pay to you directly or outside the Blazonshots platform.
